The An Tóstal Festival held their first ever 'Ted Fest' in the Lough Allen Hotel Drumshanbo on Saturday 13th April 2019. The event provided a night full of laughs and antics from beginning to end. Fr. Ted and Fr. Dougal provided us with fantastic entertainment on the night who were helped on the night by Mrs. Doyle, Pat Mustard, Fr. Jack and an array of nuns, priests and bishops not to mention the colourful neighbours Mary, John and Tom.
The night included a Lovely girls competition which was great fun for all in attendance. The lovely girls had to complete a variety of tasks from hanging clothes on a clothes line to the quickest girl to run through cone obstacles. Macra na Feirme provided an hilarious sketch which was enjoyed by all.
Thank you to Nial Foley (aka Fr. Ted) and Kevin Meehan (aka Fr. Dougal) who were the MC's on the night and to the Looney Hoppers for providing music and entertainment. DJ DL provided the tunes and ensured that everyone was dancing before they went home.
Final thanks to the Lough Allen Hotel for accommodating the event and to all who gave spot prizes on the night. All the proceeds from the 'Ted Fest' will go towards the main festival which takes place from 30th June - 6th July 2019.Return to Home
